Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 12, 2026
BTNOMB ("we", "us", "our") operates the Bounty Board at bounty.btnomb.com. This policy describes what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
1. Data We Collect
- Ethereum wallet address - provided when you submit a bounty, claim work, or vote. Used to attribute submissions, prevent duplicate voting, process payments, and pay bounties.
- Email address (optional) - provided at submission. Used only to notify you about your bounty's status.
- Bounty content - the title, teaser, and full description you submit. Teasers are displayed publicly; full descriptions are gated behind a $0.10 x402 micropayment.
- Payment data - processed by Stripe or the x402 protocol on Base L2. We do not store card numbers or private keys.
- Server logs - IP address, user agent, and request timestamps. Retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Display your bounty teaser on the public board.
- Serve full bounty descriptions to paying users via x402.
- Process claim and submission workflows.
- Process payments and pay bounties to your wallet.
- Collect platform fees (5% of bounty payouts).
- Send status updates to your email (if provided).
- Prevent abuse (rate limiting, duplicate detection).
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Stripe - payment processing (stripe.com/privacy).
- x402 facilitator - on-chain payment verification on Base L2.
- Law enforcement - if legally required.
4. Data Retention
Submitted bounties and wallet addresses are retained as long as the Bounty Board operates. Email addresses can be deleted on request. Server logs are purged after 30 days.
5. Cookies
We use no tracking cookies or third-party analytics. Stripe may set functional cookies during checkout.
6. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your email or personal data by contacting us. Publicly submitted bounty teasers and on-chain transactions cannot be deleted.
7. Security
All traffic is served over HTTPS. Payment processing is handled by PCI-compliant providers. We follow security best practices for server configuration.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date.
